I just finished my collection of modern Dodge police cars. Since all modern (marked) Dodge police vehicles are Chargers only, that’s what I have here (I’m not including models used as unmarked vehicles, like Challengers since these cars can be like any civilian model, and I’m not including rarely used cars, like Magnum or Dart). In the future I will expand this collection into SUV’s, Pickup trucks and Vans. And I will also expand into older cars, like everything pre – 2000’s.
I uploaded all designs on site in two version – standard Black and White livery version and unmarked versions (and also NYPD version for early model year Charger). All other versions will be available as commission designs (some of them can be visible here, but there are so many others).
My favorite designs are early model year modern Chargers before facelifts (2006-2010). This design work really good in LEGO, its not too round and out of shape as later facelifted models.
First facelift (LD) versions (2011-2014) are my least favorite versions, design is similar to pre-facelift models, but its less clean, and a bit more rounded. My LEGO form uses mostly the same design, with biggest changes around rear area. This facelift design is also not very good as civilian version, I think pre-facelift and 2015 facelift versions both look good as civilian vehicles, but not this second facelift.
Second facelift versions (after 2015) are my second favorites. Design is way more rounded as pre-facelift models, but this time it translates into LEGO shape good enough. Maybe rear part at tail lights are a bit too square, but I don’t think it affects my design that much.
